I can see that you have been thinking about light a lot more lately. Good job on the cubes. But in this one you have one major flaw. The highlight side of the rocks are facing us but so do the shadows. I would expect the shadows to go the opposite way. Even with a quick sketch like this it's important to think about light direction and such.

I didnt spend a lot of time on the rocks one,and by being lazy I wasnt really thinking of the light. I can now see what a big mistake I made! I tried to spend more time on the forest piece to make up for me being lazy on this piece. Thanks for the advice!!
